BC and velocity of 195 ULD in 270 AM and 200 ULD in 7mm AM?

I have decided that I need a better tool for long range elk after 2 years of hunting a couple of basins that set up perfectly for long range stationary elk.
I am thinking of scrounging up the funds for an Allen Magnum and would like to get some numbers on these 2 bullets and rounds. The 270 AM would be simpler to have built and form cases for but I want to compare the numbers to the 7mm AM.

Sambo, in our drop tests at 165 feet above sea level the bc's we are getting are .62 for the 169.5's and .65 for the 195's. Both bullets shoot very well in both mine and Mike's 270AM. Still at the elevation we are at there ain't no other 270 bullet out with a bc close to 7 and most likley in the mid to high 9's in higher elevation.

We both are loading 92.5 H-869 in the 169.5's getting 3250-3300. The 195's are stoked with 94 of 872 at 3250-3300.

I am almost sure the 195 will out perform the 200 7mm because of the sectional density alone. I still have plenty of room to get the 195 pill in the 3400 realm and have done so but choose to stay modest.

Also I would rather use the Rum brass over the Lapua you have to use with the 7AM.

I have my 270AM for sale. I dumped a boar hog at 676 and a 300+ sow at 450 with the 195's this past weekend. Or I could sell you my 300Rum. She shoots a ragged hole at 300 and 1-1.5 at 500 shooting the Berger 185vld at 3400 with 97gr of H-1000. A stock 300 sendaro Rum is very hard to beat without getting into the wildcats. If you have ex-bal run some numbers and you will see.

sambo, if you want to shoot elk at long range, get a big 338 cal.
