barrel twist for a Berger 6.5 140gr Vld

I have a 6.5-284 and I am having problem getting my Berger bullets to shoot. I am pretty sure that my barrel has a 1 in 9 twist. Is this sufficient to stabilize this bullet?
What would be a good bullet for this twist if the Bergers dont stabilize?
