SOLD/EXPIRED barrel length on 25 cal

how close does a 25/06 come to a 257 weatherby when the 25/06 has a 26 inch barrel and the 257 weath has a 24 inch barrel using the same 110 accubound. I was thinking about getting a 26 inch mgm barrel for my encore .

It will be close enough. I sold a vanguard in 257 weatherby because the 24" barrel handicapped it so much. From the research I did, maybe 100 FPS when you compare 26" 25-06 vs 24" 257 weatherby. what ever you hit won't know the difference.
