barnes triple shock

Has anyone used the barnes triple shock bullets in a 30 caliber . I have a .300 weatherby mag. and am thinking of using the 180 gr. triple shock for elk and moose. Anyone actually use them and if so what were you results?? - thanks ms

I havent used the TSX's on game, yet. But, my .300WM really shot them well. As with all Barnes bullets, bullet seating seems to be the key.

The TSX's, 168gr., shot under an inch at 100 yds. average. I used RL22, 81.5gr.s, and averaged a respectable 3150 average, with my best load going 3260 fps.
