No kidding , he was the genius type , town historian, town postmaster , town gunsmith, tail gunner in army Air Force and flew 50 missions ,not 25 ,50 , and his plane was shot down on the 51st .
he could out cuss anyone ,
If I heard a lot of yelling and investigated , more times than not he would be working on an old lawnmower! And cussing it out at the top of his lungs.
If you happened to start a conversation with him , you don't get to talk he talks nonstop, no chance or you.
Alomost forgot about the air gun range upstairs shooting from back wall of one bedroom down to end of hallway 30' ?
Or so , with an electric target return.
I, shot up there with him , and showed him that a .177 Benjamin Sheridan , could keep up with his fancy imported rifles.

I too hate lawn mowers....& shaving!

The writing on the pill bottle "DUT" ... 99% sure that is "Device Under Test".

Some sort of electrical go/no-go thingamajob.

Probably used to change polarity. Wall warts can be center positive or negative
