Average 338 lapua velosity

For those of you shooting the lapua what kind of velosity are you seeing with your current load??

2787, 300gr, 92gr Retumbo, 27", 10 twist
2850, 300gr, 92gr Retumbo, 26", 9 twist

I have not tried the 250's.

2800 to 2805 from a 27 1/2" 1 in 10 Lilja with 300 Berger using a CCI 250 and H-1000.

Measured at 18' in front of the muzzle with an Oehler 35 chronograph and drops have neen confirmed to beyond one mile.

Best accuracy with the 338 Lapua and 300 grain bullets is going to be between low 2700's and low 2800's fps. This is from thousands of rounds through them on my range during the 90's when I worked quite a bit with them and developing improved versions out of my shop..

These were my most accurate loads for this bullet weight at these powder levels.
