Arizona Elk 2a,2b,2c

Anyone have experience hunting the above units for elk?
Is it tough to draw, what is the hunting pressure like and elk density like. Any info would be appreciated

Low densities, lots of private property or checkerboarded land.

But some good elk once you know where to look and they are huntable.

75, of the three I've seen more elk in 2C. Given that statement, there's not great numbers especially with the dry summer we just had. Almost all Az elk hunt draws are fairly tough, especially the bull hunts. Published draw odds with no points for 2C is .01%.

75, the only Az cow hunt with favorable odds is the unit 10 December cow hunt. Almost an automatic draw for residents. The drawback is the often below zero temps encountered. I hunted that hunt twice. We had -5 to -13 in the mornings.

Low densities as stated above but they are definitely there. Will take some scouting to figure out places to hunt. Curious as to why you chose these units?
