Armalite is looking at building their AR-30 action in a single shot version and selling that to BR shooters. It is large cartridge with octagonal bedding areas. Just came from an onbase military expo a couple days ago and they discussed doing that in near future. They are selling the AR 30 in 338 lapua for $1350 now retail. uses shilen trigger (Rem 700). Anyone interested might want to contact them and offer to take one of the first actions in order to show them some interest in the project. They did not know any prices yet, ask them. They admit the accuracy level that they have been able to get with factory is only a little under 1 MOA consistently. However, they are not chambering to minimum SAAMI or tight neck obviously. Both would tighten things up and they admit the barrel they are using is not match quality. All I know on the project, so look them up on internet and email them direct if interested or questions.
