SOLD/EXPIRED ar-10/15 advice

Please forgive post but i could not think of a better place to get honest, knowledgeable, information. Here is my query. Can an Ar-10/15 type weapon be made in a 22-250 type cartridge rather than a standard 223 or 308 caliber? If so, what are components needed and where would I procure them. Finally, a couple builders might be handy as well. Thanks in advance.
