I have the 4-16x44 model and seems to be a great scope. I usually run Leupold VX 5HD. Just curious if anyone else runs this optic for long range shooting/hunting.

I have one on a .270 wsm. Haven't really done anything super long but have shot it out to 650ish a dozen times. I wish the parallax knob was labeled. It isn't bad when you have unlimited time but a little slow if you need to make a quick shot.

It has ridden in seekins rings since July, through an antelope season and I packed it all around chasing mule deer. I holds zero well and is repeatable on all my adjustments so far. I just haven't run it past 12 moa yet. Both shots while hunting were within 250 yards so I didn't dial on either.

I have the 6x24 on my 28 nosler. Haven't used it a lot yet but glass and tracking has been great up to 1000 and back. Wish the side Focus knob was labeled and the crosshairs were a little finer .

The Zeiss V4 is one fo the best scopes available for the money. I don't understand the parallax knob label gripe. I have never owned a scope at any dollar price that actually could be set on the label number and be parallax free. I also adjust the parallax while I am "in the scope" so who cares about the label. If you are making a quick shot it most likely is not long range(should not be) so who cares if the parallax is off a little.

I've had same experience as stated above. I prefer the vx-5hd crosshairs at distance but use the hastags on the Zeiss to hold windage. I did have to work on the perfect spot to mount and focus more with the Zeiss then Leupold...

Have had one for little over a year. All box tests checked out as well as previous drops matched that of the NF that was there before. For the money good hunting scope! Have taken mine out to about 1500 yds on a 300 win.

They are an awesome scope for the money, tough as nails and a very positive zero stop MOA dial and exceptional optics and low light performance,

I have a few of the V4 4-16x44 models and recently put a V6 5-30x50 on my new 300 PRC build, I shot at 500, 615, 715 and 820 yards, dialled up perfectly with the factory Hornady 225gr ELDM ammo using Hornady's Ballistic app.

Thanks had one, great scope. Sold it and regret it, I'll likely own another

Picked one up from red hawk rifles a while back very impressed at the price point. Good glass, tracked well. Sold it with the rifle wearing it. Wouldn't hesitate to own another.
