Anybody here shooting a rem 700 5R .308 I just got it to get started in shooting long range. So far i have shot up to 400yds and was happy with the group i punched with factory ammo. Hornady custom 150gr SSTs. I read all over the place shoot 168grs shot a box yesterday and the gun likes the 150s better they are running 2820fps @ muzzle and the 168s @ 2700fps. Shot some Hornady superformances out of it at i think they were 3000fps or 3100fps didnt like them either might be too fast for that 1 in 11.25 twist. It will shoot a ragged hole @ 100yds with them 150grs though so for now ill just shoot them till i get a load worked up for it. Well yall take it easy.
