Anyone loaded a 30 sherman with 20inch barrel?

I have a 30sm with the following specs:
20" carbon six 1:8 twist 30 SM prefit
Bighorn origin LA
TBAC 338 ultra
Sherman brass. 215 federal mag match primers.
VV N570 powder
Here are my max loads with each bullet before I start seeing ejector marks with n570.
225 eldm: 83.0 gr 2850 fps
212 eldx: 83.5 gr 2920 fps
214 HH: 82.5 gr 2942 fps
245 EOL: 81.0 gr 2743 fps
205 EOL: : 84.5 gr 2934

Yeah saw that... I have the same barrel.. was trying to not use a temp sensitive powder like 570.. did you ever try anything faster like 560? H1000? Retumbo seems to pressure out around 83g..

N570 has been temp stable for me. Lots of others seems to think so too. I tried H1000 but velocities and grouping were nothing to brag about.
My loads are usually worked up during the summer, temps 95-105 and I don't have problems with slow velocities in the winter.

I do load work whenever really.. we seemaybe 10 days a year at 100 or more in Oregon so high 80s mid 90s.. I saw 3050 in a lapua ai.. and then in 20 and 10 degree weather I was seeing 80fps slower
. Still shot great though. Was just trying to not use the magic dust unless I have to since it's not my rifle

That's a big swing in velocity! The biggest extreme I've shot mine with was 80.4g n570, 245's. At 95 average was 2730, at 34 average was 2726. When I'm in a situation where temps get below the 30's I'll be sure to validate my speeds.

I'veseen that on a few rifles.. guy I know down in California I use to talk to alot saw the same problem.. good powder though

I've never had temp stability issues with n570. In my 20" 30SM i started off running a pretty warm load with 215s at 2950fps in March at around 50*. When summer came I was running the same load at 105* with no issues and velocity's were within +-5 fps. We did a vague test with it along time ago. Put a 28Nosler and ammo in the freezer and pulled it out shot it. Then had the rifle out in the sun with ammo in July and shot the same loads. So shot 3 rds at ~32* then 3 at ~100+ I can't remember the exact spread but I know it was less than 10fps average between 32-100*.
I run 215s with n570 at 2870fps now so I would expect to run them at 2770-2800fps with h1000. Also ran it in my 338EDGE AI for a while 102gr n570 2980fps in 29" Bbl 300gr berger hybrid with excellent results.

Telling you my experience. And I've shot alot of n570 in alot of rifles.. people say the same about rl26;) just trying to see if retumbo will shoot decent .. or h1000
