I've shot a pile of hogs with a couple Safari Arms 40 Super pistols going back to 1998. 200gr XTP at 1350fps works fine. I use VV N-105.
Be forewarned however, the 40 Super can be prone to nose-down feeding stoppages in some platforms. It's not an issue with 5 or 6 on board, but you better do some research on your particular platform, if you plan to fill up a big magazine.
In a 1911, I use the Tripp Research CobraMag 8R-45-RG magazine with 6+1 on board.
