I'll be heading out to southeastern Montana probably Nov 4 to hunt deer. I've never hunted Montana before but have hunted quite a bit in CO, WY and UT. Just wondering if anybody else will be out there around that time? I'm going solo and plan to hunt BLM, NF and block management between Broadus and Ekalaka. It would be fun to meet up with a fellow LRH member. I'm flexible on driving farther if somebody has a good spot or would welcome anybody who wants to team up for some hunting with me.
Thanks!
Sam

Lots and lots of deer. The trouble is finding a big deer to shoot. Be prepared to hike. Most people just road hunt that region. If you are willing to hike in a couple miles your chance of seeing bigger deer increases dramatically. Look for areas with water. Always seem to concentrate on that kind of terrain.

I just got back from Eastern MT last night.
I got a whitetail doe at 629 yards.
