I have a 'spare rifle' I'm wanting to be rid of.....high dollar components as in
Stock.....Mesa Altitude
Trigger....Timney HiT
Barrel...Proof sendero lite at 22"..threaded
L/A action....AntiX with black coating and 20moa rail
...without gunsmith fees over $3000 in components...very experienced local gunsmith...has chambered several other rifles for me....rifle weighs at 8# scoped and loaded......was trying for a 7# rifle..didn't make it...I have 3 others at 8#...barrel has 60rds thru it...breech and muzzle unfinished as I wanted to be happy with rifle before adding in ceracoat cost....adding in some brass second fired in this rifle...and some 1st fired by another on LRH....a set of Redding dies....
Take $3000 for the rifle and components...but as a sweet bonus..
Hand me $3600 and I will add
Yep..6# of that fairy dust......
Fairy dust comes at a huge premium these day.....I'm not going to use it anytime soon..but I'm not giving it away...for what it cost me in travel time and fuel..should be $250 a pound....
If you're interested and are local..great..I will drive a reasonable distance to meet for a sell.....otherwise I'm in Se idaho....
Another gunsmith that looked over the rifle had no problem with the price..he also shot a 1" group with my unfinished loads.....no trades as I have other things I've no need for also....
