Another Weatherby question

A quick question for you guys. I found a New Weatherby Vanguard kids model in .223 for $299. I'm thinking that would be a great rifle to start my kid out with then have it rebarreled and put a new stock on when he gets big enough. Are the actions on the kids model the same as a regular Vanguard Action? Will any aftermarket Vanguard stock fit the action?

Rebarreled to 6mm. Oh! bolt face diameter! Forgot about that one. Is the action the same?
