G'day all,
Looking for an answer for 2 rounds now that are getting beyond a joke for ammo transportation.
Normally, I hunt with a MTM 20 round flip top belt carrier ammo box in my pack. Have done so for years with 270Bee, 300WM, 338WM & 264WM.
Now my dilemma has reached into 300/340/375Bee and 7STW. None of these fit the 20 round MTM boxes and I have searched to no end fixing a suitable 20 round box with a snap on close function.
I have always had to use rifle butt sleeve ammo carriers for my 338-416 Rigby Improved 45° due to it's stupid long length of 4.25". My 338 Edge rounds got damaged tips on quite a few trips due to their length, trying to avoid this if I can.
Running ABLR bullets and the tips seem fragile in comparison to regular Accubonds.
I would prefer something different as the tips on these other rounds are not solid brass and may get damaged in my pack.
Does anyone have a good solution for this dilemma?
Cheers.
