Ammo advise, Sendero Win Mag II, 300

Just bought a Sendero Win Mag II 300. It has a Timney Trigger set at 2.75#, Radical Muzzle Brake, Bedded Action, and Nightforce Scope Rail, 0 MOA.

I am going to take a ZEIS Conquest 4.5-12x44 MC off another rifle and put it on the Sendero.

Is this a good idea?

What ammo do you recommend? I will be hunting deer with and the distance could be up to 300 yards.

Pretty much anything the gun likes to shoot in the 180 grain range will be fine.

If you are shooting Factory ammo the barnes 180 Grain TTSX usually shoots very well in the 300 Win Mag. I have a Sendero 300 WM and this ammo is very accurate.
