For those not familiar with the 510 Maximus. This is one of my 50 cal wildcats based on the BMG. Basically the largest capacity you can get out of the BMG case. The pic below shows from left to right: 510 Maximus(815 gr lehigh BR), 510 Maximus (750 gr amax), 510 Allen Magnum(750 gr amax) and 50 BMG(750 gr amax).
For comparision, the standard 50 bmg will do around 2700 fps with a 750 gr Amax. Same bullet in the 510 Allen Magnum will do 2800-2850 fps. In the 510 Maximus you will see around 2950 fps in this length barrel with max loads. Better yet, it will drive the 815 gr lehigh bore rider just as fast as the 510 Allen Magnum will drive the 750 Amax.
