SOLD/EXPIRED ***All Done/ Delete** Stock for sale-- if you can IDENTIFY!

I picked this stock up from a friend of a friend who was moving. Bought some other parts and guns, but have no idea what this stock fits. The receiver bolt spacing is 5" centers and it has the same texture and fiber as one of my older McMillans, but I don't believe it is one of theirs. Doesn't appear an action has ever been screwed in. It has no markings anywhere. Anyone can identify it i would greatly appreciate it, and if anyone needs it let me know. I'm sure we can figure something out. MIKE

Looks to be for a Savage long action.
CTC of your pillars about 5 1/8" ?

Eyeball on my MIC, its roughly 5.10 inches, so sounds about right? Any idea what brand this thing is? I got 700's, 70's, Encores, and a mauser or two, no savages. I know its not for anything I own.

After looking some more & rereading you post, I'd say it's a Savage long action.

It looks almost identical to a stock I have.
Mine does not have the the pillars. Get to put them in myself.
Did you look at the face of the recoil pad?
Mine has "Bell & Carlson" molded into it.

This stock has a Pachmyr pad on it with no writing anywhere, still confused on the manufacturer.... as for it getting a new home.. I left a buddy of mine that's trying to sell a .300 win Savage a message to see how bad he wanted to get rid of it, and if he's not "giving" it away, I'm letting it go for what I've got in it. $100.
