Alco Bullets

Does anyone have experience with Alco bullets for hunting? I've been looking, but have been having a hard time find information.

The QC on them was a bit hit and miss. I tried some of the heavy 7mm bullets and the listed BCs are pretty inflated. There were also issues with the aluminum tips being loose.

I wonder if they got there stuff together and are doing better now.
Do you think they would open up at 1000-1500 yards on game?
