I'd find a one piece pic rail and then use the Burris signature rings. Loctite on the screws. They will hold the scope securely and won't leave a mark on your scope.
I originally went with Leupold ring mounts and then tried a Rechnagel rail which I didn't care for because the scope sat to high for my liking, went back to the ring mounts and have had no issues with them, they're medium rings on a Leupold 2-7x33.
The one piece Leupold, Sako etc mounts that go straight onto the groove have been far and away the best set up. You can get them from extra low to high and get the scope as low as possible with little futzing around.
