Actual Hunting & Firing w/a Muzzle Brake

Just a simple Q-Tips sometime will do. I don't leave home without them. I do carry a slim foldable earmuff though. I lost the hearing on my right ear three years ago after my brain surgery and I cannot afford to loose my last remaining good ear.

Each to his own...
The thing with tinitus (ringing ears) is that it will suddenly be there and then never go away.

Then you can forget the silence of the hill, it can be difficult to differentiate sound sources (melts into a blur), and in severe cases it'll be difficult to concentrate.

Yes I have it. Hunted for years without muffs, now I use moderators/tactical muffs to contain the damage.

I've had tinitus so long that I don't think I could get along without it.

The world sounds like a swamp full of frogs.

Hasn't been the handicap that the right ear hearing loss has been.

Would be nice to use moderators over here. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I use Radian muffs when in a hide for LRH but for walk & stock they are the pits. Flushing a pheasant is a frightening thing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
