Just to make everyone aware......... Greg Young and myself have a buisness where we stock Stiller actions, Rock Creek Barrels, Brux Barrels and Obermeyer barrels. We plan to increase the list of products that we carry as time permits. 30 cal 11tw 298/308 SS AMU 29" I am very interested in one of these. I am waiting on a call back from my smith at the moment on how he feels about doing a 300RUM with an 11' twist and shooting 210's at sea level. What is your opinion on this. I think it should be fine but definatly wont work for 240gr smk's. Does this sound correct to you?

I agree with you completely. Velocity trumps twist, and 11tw should be fine. Berger 210 recommends 11tw right on the box.

FYI, I have 10tw Rock M24s and RVs in transit now just in case...

Are the rocks cut rifled and 5R? And how long are they? I want mine to finish at 28".
