Accurate Load for a 30-378?

I have a custom 30-378, 27" barrel and I'm shooting the 230g Berger Hybrid target bullets. I'm between using 50bmg and retumbo, I've shot a ladder with the 50bmg and about to do one more with retumbo, that being said, if I get similar results with the retumbo tomorrow, which powder should I stick with, have to make a decision to by more of one type because I'll be out after the ladder test tomorrow. Basically, I don't want to spend more money on two types of powders after ladder tests just to see which holds a group better. Should I just pick one and stick with it?

Any feedback on powders/loads for this caliber using the heavier bullets?

Thanks in advance

If you have or can find, H1000... work up to 94 grs. Extremely accurate in my factory barrel. Load to magazine length or 3.800. Whichever works for you.

I see a lot more H50BMG on the shelves everywhere than I see Retumbo. However my 30/378 performs about the same on both. Using Retumbo now since I found five 1 pounders w/same lot # and sitting on about the same in H50BMG.

Agreed, Retumbo is difficult to get ahold of now but not 50bmg. Which one have you found to hold better groups, or have you yet?

Worked great for me. BTW that was not a max load in my gun

Didn't figure it was, 118 is max and that's shooting 230g berbers, I think I saw your pictures of the 50bmg 111g target among with another powder you posted a while back. I take it 50bmg worked out better than other powders? Looking for an 8 lbs tub of 50 bmg now, a lot of places are over 200.00 after the hazmat fees....
