I'm selling a nice little rifle that I had put together a couple of years ago as a trainer for the kids (their first "real rifle"), and a compact suppressed hunter for myself.
AAC and Remington teamed up to create a run of these compact bolt rifles build on the model 7 action in 300 Blackout. I bought one and sent it to CDI precision to have a higher quality B&C stock put on along with the CDI bottom metal so that it will accept AICS 223 mags. I also added a Timney trigger which is set at 2lbs. Then I added a Thunderbeast Flash Suppressor that my Ultra 9 suppressor threads over.
This is the perfect rifle for kids to learn to shoot on once they are ready to move off of the 22LR. With a suppressor and sub sonics there is no noise, and virtually no recoil. Move up to supersonics, and you've got a formidable deer and hog rifle with still little noise and recoil in a compact lightweight package. I've got about $1600 tied up into this rifle and will sell it for $800 shipped. The kids have moved on to their own 243's, and I don't use it much any more. Here are the specs…
$800 for the following…
AAC/Rem 7 Rifle in 300 BLK
B&C Stock inletted for CDI Precision bottom metal
Timney trigger set at 2 lbs.
2x – 10 Round MDT mags
Barrel is 16" 1:8 twist, threaded 5/8x24 with a thread protector.
Shipping to your FFL is included
Additional accessories I will sell if interested…
$100 – Thunderbeast Flash Suppressor.
$450 – Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10x32 FFP MOA scope with rings.
$100 – 150 rounds of subsonic ammo PLUS 250 rounds of supersonic ammo.
$30 - Hornady 300 BLK reloading die set.
Rifle is in very good condition. There was one chip in the stock near the bolt handle that occurred during shipping. I decided I wasn't concerned enough about it to send it back, so I just fixed it myself with a little JB Weld. It isn't very noticeable, but it's there and I wanted to disclose it.
Trades that I'd consider… A quality 3-15 FFP scope in MOA. One example would be a Vortex 3-15x44 FFP Gen 2 in MOA. Maybe would consider others.
