a question for .260 Rem shooters

with the .260 Rem which action or out of box rifles allow for max OAL cartridge length so you can get max seating into lands and max charge w/ the 140 gr bullets and reliably feed still feed rounds from magazine? Or is a guy better off jumping to 6.5-06 and not worry about this?
 
You might consider the 6.5 Creedmoor or the 6.5x47 Lapua. Both give similar energy as the 260 Rem, but allow longer bullets in a short action magazine. If you want more performance at the cost of barrel life the 6.5-06 and 264 Win Mag are standard factory choices. In a Rem 700 (or similar) 3.6" long action magazine neither is crimped for bullet space.
