As followed in my NRA magazine (AMERICAN RIFLEMAN) Corporal Craig Harrison of the
Houshold Cavalry took out two Taliban machine gunners from 2,707 yards with an Accuracy Internatinal in .338 LAPUA MAGNUM the shot was 1 1/2 miles in the Helmand Province
in south western Afganistan at an elevation approximatly 3.400 feet with no wind, mild weather
and clear visibility. Beating the old record held by a Canadian Sniper Rob Furlong, who killed a
Taliban fighter at 2,657 yards with a McMillan TAC 50in 2004.

Great job and fantastic shooting Corporal Harrison.

God bless all of those who are in Harms Way.
From all of us at LRH..

You're right, God Bless him. I am sure he saved several lives with that shot, and that is why he is there, and he was also apparently well chosen for the job. Awesome shot!

There's another lenghtly post about his shots here on LRH recently also.

Elkmaster101, let your son know I appreciate his service as I'm sure most here do.
