Started the morning by heading out to our place and watching 225 head of elk down in the hayfield rutting up a storm at first light, finally the sun came up and I was able to get some shots of this nice bull running of about 20 other smaller bulls from his small harem.Ran into bucks all day,saw two shooters but didnt get them on film,i did get two small non typs to stand still for a few shots. We saw bachelors groups all over but the two shooters i saw at first light were the biggest of the day, probably looked at close to 100 bucks today. Then we went after the antelope again and filled my two doe tags, one with a 397 yard headshot,my farthest HS so far on a lope.My uncle filled his two doe tags and we tracked down this nontyp buck we had seen earlier,he has a 3rd cutter on one side though the pic doesnt show it very well.Finished up the day with a 220 yard badger and got home before dark, here are todays pics....
