9 year olds first bobcat

Took my son on his first bobcat hunt using hounds. He was able to connect with his second shot from his 22 mag using my shoulder as a rest. As you can tell from his smile he is proud as punch. What he doesnt realise is my smile is ten times bigger only on the inside. Good job young man.

Ya he thinks he is quite the hunter now. His story he tells people is getting pretty long at this point.

i love hunting and shooting more then i should according to my wife, but i can honestly say i do enjoy taking a kid and getting him or her the game we are after a lot more then if i was doing the shooting. Great pic. and you will have that story for a long time.

It was a Ruger 77/22 WMR shooting full metal jackets. Best bullets for no fur damage.
