8x32 x50mm Nikon.monarch too much scope or not ?

I have used 6.5x20 power Nikon.monarchs in.the past but.not.this high of power . want a big scope for my 338-378 weatherby accumarks .How good is this scope ? ,Is it too.much scope for wide open Alaska for moose and caribou.?

I would stick with a 5-20x50mm Nikon monarch. I had one and it was a great scope, but you run out of elevation quickly with that one inch tube. Glass is great and clicks are repeatable but very limited. I would say the tube diameter is your limiting factor and not glass or magnification.
