I'm upgrading a Remington 700 in 8mm mag, I have installed a custom trigger, muscle break, bell and carlson tatical stock, but I need a longer mag to handle the hammer bullets I'm running.

What Wyatt's box should I run with a min oal of 3.820-3.825.
I have a box for the rum cartridges, but I'm afraid it might be too wide.

The rifle will be getting a new 28" sendero barrel after this year. But I wanted to shoot an elk with these 221 gr this year.

I'm open to suggestions if a better mag box is available.

Also, do any of you guys run longer blind mag boxes in a savage rifle?

Thanks in advance guys.

Run the 4.000" mag box. But you'll have to have a smith install it (involves precision milling out of some metal from the bottom of the action, and some of the stock), unless you know how to run a mill, and have done something similar before.

I seen the 4", and I considered running a 1-9 twist on the next barrel to run the 248 gr hammer hunter, do you have any experience with the 4", isn't it a center fed box
