85.5 Berger 22 creed

I am shooting a 26 inch 7 twist, I have just started with the Berger 85.5 with rl26. I am seeing a good velocity at 3120, just wondering if there is anyone pushing these faster. My rifle has a carbonsix barrel and shows pressure very early on most loads.

I am getting 3320 fps with eldm 88 grain. RL26, 26 inch proof barrel, 1 in 8. no signs of pressure.

I'm shooting the 85.5 bergers out of a 22" barrel getting 3225 fps with 39.5gr h4350 peterson brass and cci br2 primer

What we have found with a 7 twist anything much over 3250 the bullet won't make the trip 7.5 or 8 twist barrel is what I would do for a do over. David

That sucks, my barrel sped way up. Shooting the Berger at 3300 now. Havnt lost one yet

Hope it continues seems like the half dozen we have all start it sooner or later good luck.they don't blow them all up maybe one out of four David

That's great may be the barrel is smoother we have sure had problems David
