After testing the 162 gr Aluminum Tipped Amax on deer at short range, it was finally time to stretch it out a bit on an old doe at 840 yds. BC held true to the .725 that Hornady had quoted me on targets out to 1000 yds. The bullet struck at the crease of the shoulder and neck with an exit wound of about an inch. Recovered the aluminum tip intact for the most part. It's an incredible bullet and wicked looking to boot. This is my first time post a pic, so I hope it works.
