If you are reading this, chances are you are familiar with the magical powers of the 7STW. I'm selling because she's just sitting and I don't have a use for a large Mangum any more. Time to pass the torch.

Gun is in used condition as it has killed 30+ big game animals. However, it has been well cared for. Never been shot more than 3 consecutive times before complete cool down.

Specs;
  • Rem 700 Long action w/ shortened bolt stop
  • 26" + Break 1:8.75 Krieger #5. Finishes at .750"
  • Vias Break
  • Kiplinger Set Trigger (~10oz set and then ~1.5 standard)
  • Custom Lead so you can seat the bullets way out. COAL w/ 180 Berger is ~4"
  • 4" Wyatts Mag Box so its not a single shot….
  • Oregon Smithing Custom Synthetic Sock
  • Joseph Ducos installed KMW adjustable cheek piece and Henderson ARCA Rail
  • Flush cups left side, front and back
  • 3 position Winchester Style Safety
  • 10 pounds 6 OZ as pictured
  • Leupold 6x20 LR scope, fine duplex, with custom shop target turret, and Leupold objective caps
  • S&K Rings
  • ~195 pieces of 1-3 fired Nosler brass (some from another STW I don't own any more)
  • 20 pieces of new Nosler brass
  • Redding Comp Die set with micrometer seater and FL sizing die

Gunsmithing work by Tom Novotny, Sandy Oregon. 50+ years of old school experience.

Blew the dust out of the barrel in the back yard this afternoon. Windy AF, but she still shoots true. See 100 yard target picture below.

I am the original owner, not sure on the round count, but probably 350 ish.

NOT interested in any trades, unless you have a custom 22-250AI

Shoot me a PM for more pictures and or a video call.

Located in Cody Wyoming. Asking $2600 + shipping to your FFL

Selling as a package for now.

I have one, too. And like yours, a closet queen. But in her day, she was a deer bustin rifle! I went from 140 gr. (Nosler I think) to the 150 gr. Swifts. They made the deer DRT, no matter how far off. Longest was over 300 yds. I shoot it suppressed and what a difference it makes in enjoyment in shooting! Yes, it's a fine LR cartridge.
