I am running factory ammo in an Accurate Mag LA .300 Rum (3.715 OAL) magazine in a Hawkins non CIP LA bottom metal on a LA TL3. The rounds in the magazine present straight forward and go right into the feed ramp making them difficult to load. All my short actions and accompanying AICS mags present the round slightly up and feed great. I tried tuning the feed lips a little and seemed to improve one of my mags but not the other. I am honestly looking to see what magazines other people are using with the 7PRC. I know its a newer cartridge so there are relatively few dedicated mags for it, but the ones I see now are most CIP length. Did I do myself a disservice by not going with a CIP bottom metal and mag? Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!
