7mm WSM and RL-22

Can anyone give me some load data. I want to shoot a 160 gr bullet around 3000 fps out of a 24in barrel with RL-22? thanks.

I went to Alliant Powders website. They show a max charge of 63 gr of RL22 and a minimum COL of 2.82" with a 160 gr Speer SP at 2936 fps out of a 24" barrel.

May have better luck with a slower powder. RL25 is shown on Alliant's website at a max charge of 70 grains in the 7 WSM for 3090 fps with the same bullet.

As always, reduce from the max charge and work up in your rifle. Have fun!

Alliant seems to be somewhat conservative about their velocities and max loads. I get much better velocities with 63gr of RL22 and 150 SGK in my 270 WSM. These are the same loads that they advertise. If you know how to read pressure signs on your fired brass, you can you can set your own upper limits.
