OK,this may be dumb question but can load 175gr in 7mm wsm and 220gr in 300wsm?

yes, of course you can. It just may not fit well in the case and mag.

175 you can in the wsm but I'd do it on a long action instead of a short action.

Yes and yes, although 200 gr is about max that most folks will go in the 300 wsm. If you plan on shooting those weights you would be better off with the originals or the RUM versions.

Yes for the 7mm WSM and 175gr Sierra BT GK .,...excellent.....suggest Reloader 25 powder with heavy bullets.........very good BC. Maybe Norma MRP powder would be cheaper in New Z and a excellent powder.

For the 300 WSM I would draw the line at 200gr for the short case. I prefer the 180 to 185gr bullets and H4350.

I have two Win 70 in each of these cal.........really like the 7mm WSM.
