7mm wsm 168 vld Retumbo powder

Ok fellas!! Does anyone shoot this combination retumbo an 168 vld's.. I have a factory Winchester model 70 coyote in 7mm wsm.. 1st time loading an was curious if anyone was using this setup.. an some load data an seating depths.. I have Berger's load book for data.. just wanted others opinions

Not with retumbo but I'm getting 3190fps with a 26" krieger barreled sako 75 7mm wsm with 162 ELDx. 66.4 grains rl 23 and half moa or better to 500 yards.. I would give rl23 and 26 a try. I couldn't get anymore than 3040fps with retumbo with similar grouping to my current load.

Check out Alliant's website. They use 24" barrels listed over 3100fps. It's a speed demon..

That's pretty quick. I wouldnt count on that as a norm. I have a good share of experience with the rem mag which is a twin to the wsm and I ran 3145 in my last 7. I ran it a bit harder but I wasnt comfortable with it.
