I have a new 7mm RUM I'll be reloading for. Normally I haven't been crimping when loading. Just had a thought I might want to because of the recoil. Any thoughts either way ?
Below is a link to an excellent post on the topic. i never crimped a bottleneck rifle cartridge in my life, but decided to give it a try. While I did not see increased accuracy in every case, acviracy Was not reduced due to crimping. A number of 3/4 tom1 moa rifles are now showing under 1;2 moa with the only change being the crimp.
