7mm Rem Mag velocity?

What kind of velocity are you getting with your 7mm Rem Mag & 160's & what is the OAL and barrel length?

I'm getting 3000 FPS with a 160 accubond . 3.310" off the tip . 2.735" with my Hornady tool off the ogive . factory 24" bbl length . reloader # 22 powder .



with a Barnes TSX 160 I was getting 3100 FPS . same gun , same powder . 2.700" oal with my Hornady tool . I don't have the OAL off the tip wrote down .



I've quit using the TSX's I just didn't get the results I was looking for . so far I'm happy with the accubonds . Jim

I shoot a Ruger Mark II with a 24 inch barrel.

2970 ft/sec with RL-22 and 160 Accubonds COL 3.40


2985 ft/sec with RL-22 and 160 TSX COL ?


3039 ft/sec with H1000 and 160 Accubonds COL 3.40

160 accubond, 72 gr H1000, federal case, federal 215, 26" barrel 3067 fps.

168 berger, 73 gr H1000, federal case, federal 215, 26" barrel 3087 fps.

162 Hornady @ 3050 with 68 g MagPro and WLR. COL 3.390
160 AB @ 3045 with 71 Magnum and WLP. COL 3.380
Both in Remington SPS 7mm RM, 24" factory barrel.

This is my cousins rifle, its a T/C Encore with a 28" barrel so it looks like he should be able to push them 3050-3100 fps pretty easy.
