My rebarrel job is supposed to be done this week. It's a Model 70 with a 26" Shilen Barrel, fluted number 5 contour. 1:9 twist
I have:
180 gr Bergers,
168 gr Bergers
160 gr Accubonds
Lots of H-1000
Lots of Retumbo
A little RL22
A little RL25
Lapua brass
CCI 250's
I'd like to load the Bergers to pack along incase I have the opportunity to take a long shot and have the Accubonds in the magazine for the closer stuff.
I found a thread stating RL22 and the Accubonds are a good mix. What about the Bergers? Just looking for a good starting point. Are the 180's going to be too heavy?
Thank you in advance.
