7mm Rem Action to 7 WSM

Can an factory action that is set-up for 7mm REM be converted to handle 7 WSM? Is there a difference in the Rem long action vs. magnum action? thanks

Only the bolt face.

If you have a rem 700 in any belted mag (7rem mag,300win mag,7 STW,300 weatherby
ETC),It will work with the 7WSM with minor work on the bolt face( a slight chamfer on
the inside of the bolt face), and the mag follower may need tweeking.

I am looking at converting my 7mm RM to a Dakota. Minimal work if any required to the boltface and the Dakota gets about 200 - 300 more fps than the RM or WSM. Just something to think about.
