I bought out an estate and it had a lot of old Winchesters. I made an offer on the lot of them and got them all. really wanted the clean pre64 300H&H so I wasn't aware this one slipped in the bunch. Metal is clean action is stamped Dakota (looks like the Winchesters) and the barrel is stamped the same 26" The stock looks like someone did a hack job of putting a Winchester stock on it. Any idea of what it maybe worth?? I don't have any Dakota arms but they all seem to have beautiful wood will this one not having the original stock just make it a "user gun"
