700 Remington sps varmint 22-250

Dicks Sporting Goods is selling on special for spring either the 22-250,.223,243,or 308 with heavy barrel synthetic stock ,double sling swivels up front.They come with a Taso or Bushnell 4x12x40 scopes on them.I bought the 22-250 and put a 6x10x50 scope on it man does it shoot.After a short break in of 20 rounds it is shooting dime size groups of 4 and 5 at 100 yards.That is as steady as I am so it might shoot better but I figured 4 shots touching at 100 was pretty good.for $489 with the original scope and then a $40 rebate on top of that and then Dicks gives you a $10 gift certificate on top of that its a pretty great deal.

The guy I just talked to in town said they are down to 4 22-250's here in town sold out all other calibers.I replaced my 1967 22-250 in Remington 700 with this one wanted the heavy barrel niether one has disappointed me yet.
