700 40x trigger/cocking piece fit

I just dropped a 40x trigger in my 700 5R 300 win mag and the bolt, or cocking piece, seems to be dragging across the sear of the trigger. There is an audible snap over the sear when pushed into battery and another when the bolt is pulled back rearward. Is there an adjustment to smooth this out? I dont remember this happening when the 40x trigger has been in two other rifles.

So it was something with the 40x not liking this action. I swapped in my timney and the bolt slides through without issue. Weird, I just thought I would put this out there.
