Curious how this hunt turned out and if you made contact?
The hunt was really fun! I shot a decent sized cow at a hair over 250 yards. She went about 5 yards and then expired.

Did you get pics of the wound channel? Im planning on building a 7PRC
Unfortunately I did not get any pics of the wound channel. I hunted with my buddy and his wife. they both used his 7PRC as well. I believe he shot 180 bergers. Both of their elk were dead within 10 yards of where they were shot.
My buddys elk was taken the farthest distance this year (450 yards), but last year he took his elk at 730 yards with his 7PRC and it was dead right there!
