Developing a load for a Bergara I recently purchased chambered in this cartridge. Haven't found the sweet spot yet, but it's more than adequate as far as hunting accuracy out to 500 or so. Hoping to get it dialed in beyond that soon.

H1000 and a 180 gr Vld-h is what I use in my old school 7 prc(a 7mag 8T, lol). .442 moa at 300 yards on paper, awesome on steel at 1k. 2917 fps.

My barrel is quite long (27") and I shoot 195gr Berger EOLs. I load 66gr (above book max) of Vihtavuori N565. Velocity with new barrel is 2790fps. This should increase a bit… groups are sub 1/2moa on average…
