does anybody have any starting loads for the 7 mag wby. It is a factory Mark V, not for sure what the rate of twist is. I have H-1000 and RL-25 but Gander MNT is only a few miles if anybody has any pet loads they are willing to share.

Is it a new Mark V or way way old? Some of the early Wbys had very slow twists. I think any gun built in the last thirty years will have a 1-10.

What kind of animals do you want to shoot? How far do you want to shoot. Fed 215's or Fed 215GM, IMR
4350 is good, have used H4831, Currently using RL 22.

I have shot Speer 115,145 Hornady 120,139, 154, 162, Nosler, 140, 160, 175. Sierra 168 and 175, Norma ???

IMR 7828 has worked great in the Weatherby cartridges I have loaded for. Good speed, accuracy and consistency. The IMR handloaders manual has a section dedicated to the Weatherby cartridges and IMR 7828.
