I've always run .237 bore on my 6mm cartridges, my Smith prefers .236 but doesn't have a technical reason why. What would be the pros and cons of switching to .236.
My current build is a standard 6br for dedicated 600 yard bench rest and will be running berger 108's or 109's

I swear Bartlein was a company that made both at one time. My advice would be to email them, or Frank Green personally, he seems approachable. He would most likely give you some insight.
I can relay what I have been told, I can also speak somewhat from experience, but I won't name brands. When I got into 6mm, I wanted .236 bore only, then gravitated to .237, today I am going back to one brand, they label their barrels as .236", whether they actually are .236 or .2367", I have no way of gauging one.
